What Is dappOS (DOS)? Tokenomics, Unlocks and Holders
dappOS is a crypto project building xBubble, an AI agent, on top of an intent execution network, and DOS is its utility and governance token. On 27 October 2026 about 20% of the 1 billion DOS traded, and a vesting contract held 82% of the supply.
What money in DOS became
Type any amount. Results use CoinMarketCap daily DOS closes up to 26 October 2026.
Each line divides the CoinMarketCap DOS close on 26 October 2026 by the close on the start date. CoinGecko’s prices agree to a median 0.09%. Fees, spreads and taxes are left out.

dappOS started as an “intent execution network”, a system that carries out what a user asks for across several blockchains without the user handling each step. It has since rebuilt itself around an AI agent called xBubble, and its DOS token began trading on 10 August 2026.
This page takes the project’s own documents, then checks them against the blockchain. The most useful fact here is not on most price pages: 820 million of the 1 billion DOS sit in one contract, and that contract publishes exactly when each slice comes out.
How it works: what dappOS says it builds
Its documentation calls dappOS a “Web3 AI Operating System” with two layers. The Intelligence Layer is the AI side: xBubble, which the docs describe as the flagship “low-prompt” product that builds small AI agents for you to make images, video, websites, documents and research. The Execution Layer is the older intent network that carries out on-chain actions.
The docs index marks dappOS V2 and V3 as retired. In other words, the product that raised money in 2024 is not the product the token launched with. That is common in crypto and not a fault in itself, but it means older articles about dappOS describe something that no longer runs.
What DOS is for, per the whitepaper: paying for premium xBubble features, paying transaction fees on intent executions at a discount, staking by service providers as collateral, and voting on protocol decisions. The official site’s code calls a staking contract, so staking exists; we did not sign in to test the AI product itself.
Team, backers and funding
The official site and docs do not name the people behind dappOS. Press coverage names founders, but since the project itself does not publish a team page, we leave names out rather than repeat unconfirmed ones.
Funding is better documented. A press release commissioned by dappOS and published by Cointelegraph on 28 March 2024 says Polychain led a $15.3 million Series A round at a $300 million valuation.
The same release says dappOS went through Binance Labs’ incubation program and took seed money in 2023. CoinMarketCap tags DOS as a Polychain Capital, YZi Labs (the former Binance Labs) and HashKey Capital portfolio token.
DOS tokenomics: supply, allocation and unlocks
Supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 DOS. The whitepaper’s Table 1 splits it this way:
| Group | Share | Vesting, per the whitepaper |
|---|---|---|
| Team | 20% | 12-month cliff, then 48 months linear |
| Investors | 22.5% | 12-month cliff, then 48 months linear |
| Ecosystem | 20% | part at launch, monthly for a year, rest over 48 months |
| Treasury | 20% | part at launch, monthly for a year, rest over 48 months |
| Marketing | 11.5% | part at launch, rest after a 12-month cliff over 48 months |
| Airdrop | 6% | half at launch, half over the next 3 months |
The whitepaper says 20% of supply unlocked at launch. CoinMarketCap counts the same 200 million as circulating, so DOS had a market value of $47.7 million and a fully diluted value of $238.5 million on 27 October 2026 (price $0.2385, 07:34 UTC). The gap between those two numbers is the 80% still to come.
Where DOS trades
DOS trades in 45 markets, almost all against Tether (USDT) or the Korean won. Of the volume CoinMarketCap counted over the 24 hours to 27 October, Upbit’s won market carried 20.33%, the PancakeSwap pool on BNB Chain 15.80%, OKX 13.93%, XT.COM 9.05% and Bitget 7.23%. Won markets as a group made up 23.63%.
Total 24-hour volume was $36.2 million, about 0.76 times the market value. That is busy but not absurd for a new token. Two of the coins we rejected traded about 13 and 30 times their value in a day, which is a sign of churned trades.
DOS lives on two chains. The token contract on Ethereum is 0x951f086a127e280724fd93ccc543f65065afeb5e, and the copy on BNB Chain is 0xb0f09ea9ae0515c3551080d4a745c8115aa30e37. Both match CoinGecko’s listing, and the Ethereum address is the one built into the official site.
A worked example: $1,000 at the first close
On 10 August 2026, its first day, DOS opened at $0.10 on CoinMarketCap’s data, hit $0.7128 within minutes and closed at $0.4118. That close is still its highest.
Say you put $1,000 in at that close. You would have bought 1,000 ÷ $0.4118 = about 2,428 DOS. At the 26 October close of $0.2352, those coins were worth 2,428 × $0.2352 = about $571, a loss of 42.88%.
The $0.10 opening print flatters the token. Measured from it, DOS rose about 2.4 times, but the day’s low was that same $0.10, and it is not a price most buyers could get. Pages that quote a gain “since listing” usually start from it.
The unlocks are the other half of the example. The step due on 11 November 2026 is 19,583,334 DOS. At $0.2352 that is about $4.6 million of new supply, roughly 12.7% of one day’s volume and 9.8% on top of the 200 million already counted as circulating.
The original data: the vesting contract and our vetting
The largest DOS holder is a contract, not a person. At Ethereum address 0x20f4fcce19dd59131cb66baa8247e8ce5ba40425 it held exactly 820,000,000 DOS, 82.0% of supply, when we read it on 27 October. Its verified source code on Sourcify is named Vesting, and it answers questions about itself: a start time of 11 August 2026, 60 scheduled steps, and the amount released so far.
The schedule it returns runs from 11 September 2026 to 11 August 2031. The steps are 19,583,334 DOS a month from September to November 2026, 9,583,334 DOS in December, 4,583,334 DOS a month from January to August 2027, then 14,895,833 DOS a month until the last step in August 2031.
That is 96.25 million DOS released in 2027 and 178.75 million in each of 2028, 2029 and 2030.
Two steps had already unlocked, 39,166,668 DOS, and none had been withdrawn. Unlocked but untouched tokens can still be moved at any time, so they belong in any count of possible selling.
Concentration is high even outside that contract. The ten largest Ethereum holders held 96.97% of supply. The second largest, 3.25%, is a verified bridge contract named GLayerOFTAdapter, at the same address as the BNB Chain token, and its 32.5 million DOS match the DOS supply on BNB Chain. Two others are multi-signature Safe wallets.
One loose end: 180 million DOS sat outside the Vesting contract, not 200 million. CoinMarketCap’s circulating figure is 20 million higher than what the chain shows outside the contract. The difference may be counted elsewhere in the plan; the project does not explain it.
Our vetting scorecard, 27 October 2026. We ran DOS as a control: it passed on documents, listings and volume, but it failed the run-up test the other four pages were picked on.
| Check | Result |
|---|---|
| Public documents | Pass: whitepaper, GitBook docs, GitHub |
| Major venues | Pass: Upbit, OKX, Bitget, KuCoin, Gate |

When it fails: the risks we found
Unlocks never stop for five years. Every month until August 2031 more DOS leaves the contract. From September 2027 the monthly step more than triples to 14.9 million DOS, about when the whitepaper’s 12-month team and investor cliffs end. If demand does not grow at least as fast, the extra supply weighs on the price.
The price has only fallen since day one. DOS closed 55.73% below its first close on 17 October 2026, its low so far. A 30-day change of +1.64% to 26 October is a flat line, not a recovery.
Thin float, concentrated holdings. Only a fifth of the supply trades, and ten addresses held 96.97% of the Ethereum supply. A small number of wallets can move this market.
Korean retail volume can vanish quickly. Almost a quarter of trading came through won markets. Those flows tend to arrive and leave in bursts.
Copycat tokens use the DOS name. A Base token called “DAPPOS” at 0x4d521eb10d59EeAC5cf1853c20362f55Aa22930A is not the project’s, nor are several Solana tokens with the DOS ticker. “DOS Chain” is a different project. Check the address against the two above before any transfer.
A pivot already happened once. V2 and V3 are retired. Projects that change direction once can do it again, and the token’s purpose is tied to the current product.
FAQ
Is dappOS a real project?
Yes, in the sense that it has a whitepaper, public docs, a verified vesting contract and listings on large exchanges such as OKX, Upbit and Bitget. That says nothing about whether DOS holds its value.
When is the next DOS unlock?
The Vesting contract’s next step is 11 November 2026: 19,583,334 DOS, about 1.96% of supply. Steps then fall to 9,583,334 DOS in December and 4,583,334 DOS a month through August 2027.
What is the DOS contract address?
On Ethereum, 0x951f086a127e280724fd93ccc543f65065afeb5e. On BNB Chain, 0xb0f09ea9ae0515c3551080d4a745c8115aa30e37.
What is xBubble?
xBubble is dappOS’s AI agent product. The docs describe it as a low-prompt tool that turns a short request into a finished image, video, website, document or research piece.

New tokens are a kind of altcoin, and the altcoin page explains why so few of them keep their launch value. The gap between DOS’s market value and its fully diluted value is easier to read after the market cap page, and the idea of a small tradable supply is covered under float.
Before sending money to any new token, the guide on how to avoid a crypto scam walks through contract checks like the one above. The other tokens in this test, starting with ShareX, are profiled the same way.
A falling price after launch and a large monthly unlock can feed each other. Read the vesting schedule before the price chart, and size any position so that a further halving would not matter.
