What Is ShareX (SHARE) Crypto? Tokenomics, Holders and Risks
ShareX is a crypto project that links shared devices such as rental power banks and vending machines to a blockchain, and SHARE is its token on BNB Chain. On 26 October 2026 SHARE closed at $2.727, 4.6 times its first close, with only 18% of supply trading.
What money in SHARE became
Type any amount. Results use CoinMarketCap daily SHARE closes up to 26 October 2026.
Each line divides the CoinMarketCap SHARE close on 26 October 2026 by the close on the start date. CoinGecko’s prices agree to a median 0.05%. These are past moves, frozen on 26 October; fees, spreads and taxes are left out.

ShareX sells the idea that the rental power bank in a café can be a piece of crypto infrastructure. Its SHARE token began trading on 8 May 2026, sank by two thirds in its first five weeks, then ran to a new high in late October.
Search “what is ShareX” and most results describe ShareX the free screenshot tool for Windows, an unrelated program. This page covers only the crypto project and its token, using its own documents and the token’s on-chain records.
How it works: what ShareX says it builds
ShareX’s docs call it a “Web3 Consumer and Financial Layer for the sharing economy.” Its main product, Deshare, is a set of tools that connects shared devices, such as power banks and vending machines, to a blockchain so their usage and payments are recorded on-chain.
PowerPass is the money side. It is a product tied to revenue from shared devices, which the docs describe how to mint, with perks delivered through the PowerNow app. ShareX calls this “Consumer RWA”, meaning a real-world asset product aimed at ordinary users.
Scale is the project’s own claim. A ShareX post from 14 September 2026 says it supplies hardware and software to dozens of brands across Japan, Southeast Asia, Russia, Europe and the Middle East, reaching more than 10,000 merchant locations and 10 million users who have never touched crypto. We could not check those numbers independently.
SHARE’s stated uses are payments and rewards in shared-device apps, access to the RWA and infrastructure products, and future governance votes.
Team, backers and funding
No official ShareX page names its founders or executives. The legal issuer on the PowerPass Purchase Agreement is Lilybulb Holding Limited, operating as ShareX Labs, a British Virgin Islands company.
We found no confirmed funding round. CoinMarketCap tags SHARE with Binance’s MVB builder program and Binance Alpha, and marks the token as audited, but no announcement we found gives investors or amounts. An anonymous team is not proof of anything bad, but it means no named person is accountable.
SHARE tokenomics: supply, allocation and unlocks
Supply is fixed at 100,000,000 SHARE. The verified contract, named ShareXToken, created the whole supply once and has no way to mint more, though tokens can be burned. The docs give this split:
| Group | SHARE | Unlocked at launch | After launch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mining | 20M | 0% | 6-month cliff, then 96 months linear |
| Ecosystem | 20M | 10% | 6-month cliff, then 96 months linear |
| Treasury and reserve | 20M | 0% | 6-month cliff, then 96 months linear |
| Community and marketing | 15M | 73% | rest over 4 months |
| Investors | 10M | 0% | 12-month cliff, then 24 months linear |
| Team and advisors | 10M | 0% | 12-month cliff, then 24 months linear |
| Early liquidity | 5M | 100% | none |
That adds to about 18 million SHARE at launch: 10% of 20 million, plus 73% of 15 million, plus all 5 million. CoinMarketCap still counts 18 million, which put the market value at $49.4 million against a fully diluted value of $274.4 million on 27 October (price $2.744, 07:34 UTC).
The first big cliff is close. The tokenomics post went up on 7 May 2026 and trading began on 8 May, so the 6-month cliffs end around early November 2026.
After that, 58 million SHARE drip out over 96 months, about 0.6 million a month. Team and investor tokens follow from around May 2027 at about 0.83 million a month for two years.
An approved contract swap will change every number above by 40 times. On 14 September 2026 ShareX proposed replacing SHARE with SHAREX on a new BNB Chain contract: 1 old SHARE for 40 new, total supply from 100 million to 4 billion.
The Snapshot vote ran from 16 to 23 September 2026: 111 votes, about 1.82 million SHARE, all in favor. ShareX said on 23 September that the proposal had passed. Holders’ shares of the supply would stay the same. By 27 October we found no new contract address, snapshot time or swap date in ShareX’s docs or posts.
Where SHARE trades
SHARE trades in only 10 markets. Of the volume CoinMarketCap counted over the 24 hours to 27 October, 55.21% went through one PancakeSwap pool on BNB Chain, 18.79% through LBank, 13.04% through Binance Alpha and 6.91% through MEXC. KuCoin, the best-known exchange on the list, carried 1.83%.
Total volume was $3.15 million, about 0.06 times the market value. That is thin. A seller wanting to exit $1 million in a day would be a third of all trading, and on the pool side the price moves with every trade.
A worked example: $1,000 at the first close
SHARE closed its first day, 8 May 2026, at $0.5885. A $1,000 purchase then bought about 1,699 SHARE.
Five weeks later the stake was worth about $315. The close on 14 June 2026 was $0.1854, a fall of 68.50% from the high close before it: 1,699 × $0.1854.
On 26 October the same coins were worth about $4,634. The close was $2.727, so 1,699 × $2.727. Bought at the June low instead, $1,000 had become $14,709. Bought on 26 September at $0.5807, it had become $4,696 in a month.
Nobody knew in June which way it would go. The same chart that rewards a June buyer punished a May buyer for five weeks first, and the next fall could start on any day.
The original data: holders, price path and our vetting
One address holds most of the supply. On BNB Chain, 0x4797c0e74598ee7af44364edb4b8163dde9c9249 held 76,666,667 SHARE, 76.67%, when we read it on 27 October.
It is a proxy contract with no verified source code that we could find and no public label, so we cannot say if it is a vesting vault, a treasury or something else. Its size fits the locked groups, but that is our inference.
The ten largest holders held 92.28%. The second and third are multi-signature Safe wallets that need three signatures to move funds.
The price path has three parts. SHARE drifted down from its first close to $0.1854 in mid June, spent the summer below its launch price, and closed at $0.5807 on 26 September. Then it rose 369.60% in 30 days to its highest close, $2.727, on 26 October. CoinGecko’s prices agree with CoinMarketCap’s to a median 0.05% over all 172 days.
Our vetting scorecard, 27 October 2026. SHARE passed, but flagged as risky.

When it fails: the risks we found
A near-fivefold month on thin volume reverses easily. The rally happened on about $3 million of daily trading. Three of the coins we rejected in the same screen had run up and then fallen 40% to 60% within a month.
The swap is a real event risk. The vote has passed, but until ShareX publishes the details, nobody outside the project knows the new contract address, the snapshot time or how exchange balances are handled. Scammers copy announcements like this with fake swap sites.
Supply is about to start moving. The 6-month cliffs on mining, ecosystem and reserve end around November 2026. The monthly amounts are small, but they never stop for eight years.
Ownership is opaque. The largest holder is unlabeled and unverified, the team is unnamed and no funding round is public. Every one of those can be fine; together they leave little to check.
Fake SHARE tokens are common. On BNB Chain, 0xe857f8bfb61953bab7097d50db00e9a2e121004b, 0xefc0e4f945bd4bdd395c97871f823665b99cc52c, 0x20831a17d1563a98fe1835feddb7fe14c24950ce and 0x8e6301aea17b7dea71885eddbaea7b06a5984444 all use the ShareX or SHARE name and are not the project’s token. Neither is the Solana token H7hJCfS5dxMDerQRNZGfBJYcquZwHdMfJmajZat5rH8f.
FAQ
Is ShareX crypto the same as the ShareX screenshot app?
No. The screenshot tool is an unrelated open-source Windows program. ShareX the crypto project runs the Deshare device network and the SHARE token on BNB Chain.
What is the real SHARE contract address?
0x5FCA51aff213bFBEAB0b711b93c3374252fD6aC3 on BNB Chain, as printed on ShareX’s tokenomics page.
What is the SHARE to SHAREX swap?
A plan to move to a new contract at 40 new SHAREX per old SHARE, with total supply rising from 100 million to 4 billion. Holders approved it in a Snapshot vote that closed on 23 September 2026. By 27 October 2026 ShareX had not published the new contract address or a swap date.
How many SHARE tokens are there?
100,000,000 in total, with 18 million counted as circulating on 27 October 2026.

ShareX is one of many altcoins launched in 2026, and most of its trading happens in a liquidity pool rather than on an exchange order book. The small tradable share of its supply is what the float page explains.

A token that rose almost fivefold in a month on $3 million of daily trading can fall just as fast. Never act on a link someone sends you; copy the contract address from the project’s own docs.
