Whitman Trading is an educational site. Nothing on it is personal financial, investment or tax advice, and no page tells you to buy or sell anything. Some links are affiliate links, which are labeled. The text, charts and calculators belong to Michael Whitman; you may quote and link to them with credit.
Education, not advice
Everything on whitmantrading.com is general education. It is not personal financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and it does not take your situation into account. Trading and investing can lose money, including more than you put in with leveraged products. Make your own decisions, test ideas on your own charts first, and speak to a licensed professional for advice about your own money.
Calculators and data
The calculators run in your browser and show their working. Their results are arithmetic on the numbers you type in and on the assumptions stated on each page. They are not forecasts. Historical price figures come from the public sources named on each page and are checked against a second source, but past results do not tell you what will happen next. If you find an error, please tell me and it will be fixed and logged on the corrections page.
